Krystal Stanley, Ph.D., Licensed Psychologist, Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator- Clinician

I am a Licensed Psychologist (DC, MD, VA, NY) and the owner of Re-New Psychological Services, LLC. I received a doctorate in Counseling Psychology from The Pennsylvania State University, and I’ve been living and working as a therapist in Washington, DC since 2009.

The best part of the work that I do is bearing witness to change. Trying new things and new ways of being takes courage, and I am honored that I’ve gotten to share this journey with so many people throughout my career.

I’m excited to share the work of Dr. Brené Brown with others as it has been transformative in my own career and personal life. At the end of the weekend intensive you will leave with tangible skills that you can start using immediately in your daily life that will greatly impact how your relationships, and your career, and how you view and interact with yourself.

When I am not leading workshops or meeting with clients individually I enjoy baking (check out Docs Delecta-bites to see some of my work), reading, and staying active with yoga. Additionally, I recently learned to play the ukulele- I enjoy performing solo concerts in my living room- and took a photography class. I believe in cultivating hobbies and creative outlets.

I'm trying something new- videos! I've had a written post sitting all week- about "habits"- so I decided to talk about it in a video instead. I'm planning to try posting a video each week- let me know what you think! Also let me know if there are any topics you want me to talk about.
